I’m a ground control software engineer at True Anomaly, building software that talks to spacecraft. The details stay at work; the short version is it’s going genuinely great.

This website, mostly: the ASCII vortex you saw on the way in, the achievements system, the fake boot sequence, and whatever easter egg I think of next. It’s my playground for ideas that would never survive a sprint planning meeting.

Kansas City, MO raised me; Denver, CO has me now. I moved so the mountains would stop being a nine-hour drive. Weekends go to rock climbing, hiking, cycling, and the occasional questionable call, like a winter summit of Mount Bierstadt without snow boots. It worked. My toes have mostly forgiven me.

I also run the occasional half-marathon on zero training. I keep meaning to train for one. I will not be training for one.

When it’s not an outside day, I’m working on my video game (details coming soon), going down astrodynamics rabbit holes, or overpolishing a website project. This site is exhibit A. Failing that, I’m deep in whatever hobby I picked up six weeks ago and am about to drop entirely.

I don’t really follow the news, and I couldn’t tell you what any celebrity is up to. If something actually matters, it reaches me through people. So far the human RSS feed hasn’t missed anything important.

That’s the whole directory. Digital hermit by design: no Facebook, no Instagram, no feeds to doomscroll. If you find me anywhere else, it isn’t me.
